Busy Beaver Lumber,LLC is owned by Kristina and Fred Strauss of Fort Wayne. Both Kristina and Fred are avid woodworkers who truly enjoy the hobby of woodworking. The couple were frustrated at the high costs local stores and home centers wanted for quality hardwoods, so the purchased a building, sawmill, and support equipment over a decade ago and began cutting and drying their own lumber. Supply soon exceeded their own demand, and so they began to offer their quality wood products to the public and other woodworking businesses.

As time went on, they continued to grow and added a CNC Router and Epilog Laser to thier woodworking tools. Additional Sawmill support equimpment like a custom 6 x 10 foot dump trailer, servral wood splitters and chainsaws, Ford 1710 4wd tractor and Towable Backhoe were also added to be able to offer delivery and additional services to our customers. We also have access to a tripple axle 7 foot wide by 24 foot long triaxle trailer
